Objectives
The primary objective was to deploy a unified, enterprise-grade commercial complex POS system uniting 9 diverse businesses under single-ledger management.
The project was engineered to achieve the following core objectives:
‣ Consolidate Multi-Business Operations: Unify dining, retail, food court, and mart departments into one centralized database with isolated department ledgers.
‣ Deploy High-Security EV3 Cashless Cards: Replace vulnerable RFID cards with AES-128 encrypted Mifare DESFire EV3 2k smart cards across all 9 outlets.
‣ Accelerate High-Velocity Checkout: Install 15 industrial dual-screen touch terminals equipped with omnidirectional laser scanners and 0.2s card tap latency.
‣ Automate Complex Departmental Accounting: Streamline sales revenue distribution, daily shift reconciliation, and Bakong KHQR settlement tracking.
‣ Deliver Comprehensive On-Site Enablement: Complete structural networking cabling, hardware configuration, and bilingual staff training in Poipet.

Key Outcomes
The deployment of Commercial Complex POS System Cambodia established Merah Putih Corp as Poipet's premier integrated commercial hub:
Key outcomes include:
‣ Sub-0.2-Second Contactless Tap: Cashless card transactions eliminated peak dining queues, reducing checkout wait times by over 80%.
‣ 100% Secure Cryptographic Cashless Core: Hardware-based AES-128 encryption guaranteed zero card cloning and zero balance falsification.
‣ Real-Time 9-Outlet Visibility: Management monitors live sales, department margin contributions, and hourly footfall from any mobile device.
‣ Zero Register Cash Variances: Automated cashier shift auditing and KHQR settlement reconciliation eliminated cash drawer discrepancies.
‣ Turnkey Hardware Engineering: Successful deployment of 15 touch terminals, kitchen order printers, barcode scanners, and concealed network cabling.
Challenges
Operating a complex commercial destination with diverse retail and food service models presented acute management challenges:
Key operational challenges included:
‣ Disjointed Point-of-Sale Silos: Separate disconnected registers across dining, retail, and grocery obscured consolidated commercial profitability.
‣ Food Court Cash Bottlenecks: Physical cash handling at high-traffic food stalls slowed turnaround and increased register variance risks.
‣ Vulnerabilities of Legacy RFID: Conventional 1k cards lacked modern cryptographic security, posing significant risks of unauthorized balance duplication.
‣ Disparate Inventory Models: Apparel size-color matrices, restaurant raw food recipes, and grocery barcodes required versatile inventory modeling.
‣ Complex Cross-Border Settlement: Multi-currency cash handling (KHR, THB, USD) at the Poipet border created accounting reconciliation overheads.
