Mr. Sihamanith Sun’s Biography
Mr. Sun Sihamanith is the dynamic CEO and visionary leader of Technology Solution Development Co., Ltd. (TSD), Cambodia’s foremost IT and software solutions provider. Born and raised in Phnom Penh, Mr. Sun’s early fascination with technology was sparked by witnessing the Kingdom’s rapid economic transformation and the untapped potential of digital tools to bridge gaps in business efficiency.
He pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the Royal University of Phnom Penh, where he excelled in software engineering and business applications, graduating with honors. To further hone his skills, Mr. Sun earned an MBA from the National University of Management, specializing in technology management and entrepreneurship. His academic journey was complemented by international certifications in project management (PMP) and agile methodologies (Scrum Master), equipping him with a global perspective while staying deeply rooted in Cambodian realities.
Mr. Sun’s professional career began in 2005 as a software developer at a leading telecom firm in Cambodia, where he quickly rose to lead teams on mission-critical projects, including network optimization and customer management systems. In 2010, driven by a passion to create locally relevant solutions, he founded TSD with a small team and a big vision: to become Cambodia’s ultimate technology enabler.

Mr. Sun is a fervent advocate for Cambodian tech talent, mentoring young developers through internships and workshops at TSD. He has spoken at industry forums on Industry 4.0 adoption in Southeast Asia and serves on advisory boards for local tech initiatives. His awards include “Cambodia’s Top Tech Entrepreneur” (2024) and recognition from the Ministry of Commerce for digital innovation contributions.
Beyond business, Mr. Sun is committed to community impact, supporting education programs in rural provinces and promoting sustainable tech practices. Married with two children, he enjoys cycling through Cambodia’s scenic landscapes and reading about emerging AI trends — always seeking the next breakthrough to bring to TSD.
