Objectives
The goal was to create a user-friendly, Khmer-first mobile e-commerce app specializing in fresh agricultural products (with durian as flagship), enabling consumers to browse, order, and receive safe, high-quality produce while empowering farmers and markets with digital sales tools.
‣ Provide intuitive search, filtering, and detailed product views for fresh goods.
‣ Support flexible delivery and pickup with real-time fee/ETA calculation.
‣ Integrate trusted Cambodian payment methods plus manual verification.
‣ Highlight quality responsibility, safety standards, and origin transparency.
‣ Drive direct sales from farms/markets to urban consumers efficiently.

Key Outcomes
The 3H-Agri app successfully digitized fresh durian and agri-product sales, improving accessibility, price transparency, and consumer confidence in safe, responsibly sourced goods. It strengthened direct farmer-to-consumer links and reduced post-harvest losses through faster turnover.
‣ High engagement with seasonal featured products and market locator.
‣ Smooth multi-payment checkout with image verification fallback.
‣ Clear delivery/pickup options with accurate fee and ETA display.
‣ Increased order volume and repeat purchases for participating markets.
‣ Positive feedback on quality assurance messaging and easy weight selection.
Challenges
3H-Agri aimed to build a reliable digital channel connecting Cambodian farmers, wholesalers, and consumers directly for fresh fruits (especially durian) and agricultural products. Traditional wet-market reliance, inconsistent quality assurance, opaque pricing, and unreliable delivery created significant barriers to scaling safe, traceable produce sales in urban areas like Phnom Penh.
‣ No centralized mobile platform for browsing fresh produce from verified markets and sellers.
‣ Manual order placement and payment verification slowed transactions and increased errors.
‣ Limited transparency on product origin, quality standards, and safe handling practices.
‣ Fragmented delivery and pickup options with poor real-time tracking.
‣ Difficulty integrating popular Cambodian payment methods while maintaining trust.
